The Vancouver Canucks got off to a rocky start and dropped their first three. They have rebounded nicely with a win and a shootout win in their last two. They have made some adjustments on the defensive end and what was 13 goals allowed in the first three games has turned into just four allowed in their last two. The defensive improvements bode well for the UNDER here as the Canucks have turned-in a 35-17-6 mark to the UNDER in the role of a road dog of +110 to +150. The Flames are off a hard-checking 2-1 loss their last time on the ice, which presents another significant factor as they have now been 8-3 to the UNDER after scoring two or fewer their last time on the ice as well as being 7-1 to the UNDER their last eight times out after allowing two or less. The Canucks offer more assurance having gone 8-2-1 on the road against a home team with a mark of .600 or better on home ice. The Flames support in kind with a 7-2 UNDER mark against losing teams. I like this one to go UNDER the total.
