Vancouver has a winning road record and had to play last night, but the Canucks are 7-3 when playing on no days rest. They catch a break against a struggling Calgary team ranked last in the NHL in goals allowed and last with a 73.3 penalty kill percentage. The come off a 5-3 defeat at home to Minnesota, meaning they're on a 4-8 run at home. Calgary has surrendered 20 goals over their last four games to drop their goals-against average to 3.05, tying Ottawa and Columbus for worst in the league. The Flames just learned their top goaltender will miss the rest of the season. Starting goaltender Karri Ramo will miss the rest of year with a torn ACL he suffered in a game last week. Ramo's absence leaves the duties in net to backup Jonas Hiller and little-used Joni Ortio. The Flames' penalty kill hasn't done them any favors, surrendering goals in each of the last five games as opponents have gone 11-for-25 on the power play. Take Vancouver.
