Vancouver will not make the playoffs, but the Canucks are making a late-season push to gain momentum and confidence heading into next season. The Canucks have won six of their past seven following a 3-2 shootout victory over Los Angeles last night when Thatcher Demko made 38 saves and did not allow a shootout goal. Vancouver has won both meetings with Anaheim this season, including 3-2 in overtime on March 8. The Ducks have lost four of six and the last three went OVER. Collin Delia is expected to get his first start since Feb. 21 for the Canucks and he has a 7-4-2 record. John Gibson continues to have a disappointing season for Anaheim with a 3.90 goals-against average. Vancouver has won 12 of 16 versus Pacific Division teams and it is 18-8-5 OVER its past 31 games overall and 23-8-3 OVER after allowing two or fewer goals its previous game. The Ducks are 10-3-1 OVER their past 14 home games and they are 18-49 versus the Western Conference. Play the Canucks and the OVER.
