Toronto had its four-game winning streak snapped losing to Vancouver 3-1 on Thursday as Jake Virtanen scored twice to Thatcher Demko, who had 32 saves. The Maple Leafs still have won seven of their last nine games and sit atop the North Division. The Canucks have lost five of their last seven games and Thursday's loss was Toronto first in the last six meetings. Michael Hutchinson was in net for the Leafs on Thursday, but Frederik Andersen is probable tonight. Anderson is 12-3-2 with a 2.59 goals-against average. Demko still is 6-9-1 with a 2.93 GAA. The Maple Leafs will be more rested for this one as it was playing its third game in four nights in the 3-1 loss. Toronto is 5-1 its last six games playing on one day of rest and 5-1 its last six road games overall. Take the Maple Leafs.
