It has been seven years since the Ottawa Senators have gotten off to this quick of a start through five games. They take the ice at home tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs at 4-1 for the season. The excitement could be short lived. Despite allowing just 10 goals through the five games, Ottawa has surrendered close to 36 shots per game by opponents. Toronto is playing pretty well themselves right now, and just took out another hot team on the road as they went to New York and took down the 4-1 Islanders 5-2, moving them to a 2-0-1 record on the road to start the season. The Senators own a disappointing 10-28 record when facing a hot offense, one that scored 5+ goals in their previous contest. The Senators have also dropped five straight games when they are on three or more days of rest. The Maple Leafs have dominated this series at 6-1 over the last seven meetings, so take Toronto.
