These teams have been playing each other for a long, long time and it’s a heated rivalry. Montreal is the team playing better on the season and in the moment, but those records seem to not bear the true value when these teams get together. The Canadiens have not been able to find the win column as a healthy chalk. They are just 1-5 in their last six as a favorite of -151 to -200. The Maple Leafs has taken two of their last three as a +155 dog or higher and on the season, a respectful 5-6 at long odds. Many surprises have taken place between these two and it puts the value on the side of the Maple Leafs, who I'll back as a live dog in this one.
