Toronto at Calgary

The Flames were monsters early in the season at home and on the road, but they have regressed as we reach the New Year. They have claimed just six of their last 14 games. As a sizeable favorite here, they are overpriced. This is a team mired in offensive doldrums that has seen them tally just 2 per game over the 14-game stretch. The Maple Leafs aren't playing pretty either, but have claimed dog wins in five of their last 10 on the road, while the Flames are just 2-5 in their last seven vs. teams with a winning percentage of below .400. The Maple Leafs have won their share in this series as they are 17-8 in the last 25, so I’ll back Toronto in this spot.
