Toronto at Buffalo

Maple Leafs opened a few eyes with their quick 4-0 start to the season, but that was certainly short lived. They have since come out on the right side of just four more in their last 16. What started as a +8 goal surplus in the opening four wins has become a -15 goal deficit in their last 16. The Sabres have had their own struggles at home, but all indications point to getting healthy in this one as they are 38-16 in their last 54 at home vs a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400. The Maple Leafs are not a very live dog as they are 0-7 in their last seven as an underdog. Toronto has a track record here not offering much hope either as they are 8-23-2 in the last 33 meetings with the Sabres. Buffalo gets this one.
