Toronto at Boston

Auston Matthews and the Leafs return to the scene of the crime tonight, where Team USA lost in overtime at the 4 Nations final. Matthews (1G, 8A) has registered a point in six straight games and the Leafs are 2-0 since the break, scoring 11 goals vs. the Hurricanes and Hawks over the weekend. Anthony Stolarz gets the nod tonight, and he's 11-5-2 with a 2.13 GAA and .928 save percentage on the season. Boston picked up a single point in its OT loss to the Ducks to start the second-half, but the Bruins are still outside the playoff bubble in the East. Boston has a -26 scoring differential this year and they've been outscored 13-8 in three meetings vs. their Original Six rival, going 1-2. Boston is hurting on the backend, and Toronto's offense is firing on all cylinders. Toronto is 10-3 on the road since Dec. 18 and won't look past this opportunity to skate past a strugging archenemy.
