Tampa Bay at Washington

The Caps potent offense, which saw them score 41 goals in a nine game stretch, has stretched out the totals in their games and this one is up there. The problem is the offense has gone expected cold off the unsustainable pace, while the totals rise. The Caps have scored just seven goals in their last four games and have been shutout twice. Tampa is getting good support between the pipes, allowing just five goals in their last three and can certainly hold this one down. It helps knowing that the Lightning, off a big offensive game scoring five or more, have followed by playing their next one to an 18-8-1 mark to the UNDER. The Caps are now four straight to the UNDER on a single day of rest as well as 9-3-1 to the UNDER as a favorite from -150 to -200. I am on the UNDER in this one.
