Tampa Bay at Washington

Tampa Bay improved their defensive-zone play in Game 3 and Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 36-of-38 shots as the Lightning won 4-2 in a must-win game. Doing it two games in a row will be difficult though and the Lightning still is just 18-37 the last 55 meetings with Washington and 17-37 the last 54 meetings on the road. The Capitals outshot the Lightning 38-23 and Braden Holtby had 19 saves and Tampa Bay scored on two of five power-play opportunities. Washington is 77-31 its last 108 games with one day of rest dating to last season and still has won 22 of its last 30 games overall.  No one expected a sweep in this series and the Capitals need to stay out of the penalty box because the Lightning has one of the best power plays in the league.  Look for Washington to correct these mistakes and take a 3-1 series lead.
