This season in the NHL playoffs, the road teams have won more than the home teams. Does that mean home ice advantage is gone? Hardly. That's due to the nature of the seeds and teams, and a little luck. With this game being played in Pittsburgh, I fully expect the home team to get the win and against a relatively inexperienced Tampa Bay team. Only a handful of Lightning players have ever seen a game seven and now they have to experience it for the first time on the road. The Lightning gave up 3.1 goals per game this season on the road and Pittsburgh is 29-14 this season vs. teams that allow 2.9+ per game. They are also 14-5 revenging a road loss as they are here. The Penguins are also 11-4 this season after back-to-back losses. Take the Penguins to advance.
