A young Tampa Bay team had a chance to wrap up the series at home in game six, and they got smoked, 7-3. Now they have to trudge north for a game seven on the road. The Rangers are 3-0 in elimination games this postseason and 7-0 in game sevens since 1992. New York has a talented, deep, fast team, third in the NHL in goals scored and allowed, plus they have the X factor in veteran goalie Henrik Lundqvist, tremendous in big games. Lundqvist is 15-3 in his last 18 elimination games. The Rangers forced the deciding game on Tuesday as Derick Brassard had a hat trick and two assists to back a 36-save performance by Lundqvist in a 7-3 win in Tampa. Rick Nash has come alive with three goals and four assists over the last three contests. The Rangers are 38-16 against Eastern Conference, plus 36-16 following a win, so grab home ice in this winner-take-all showdown and play the NY Rangers.
