Tampa Bay at New York

Tampa Bay is a good defensive team, but not a great one (15th in goals allowed). They are also not a stellar road team, barely over .500 away from home, and the Lightning is 12-33 on the road against a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600.  The Lightning have also been outshot in seven of their last eight games. This New York Rangers team has it all, depth, speed and a powerhouse defense behind dominant goalie Henrik Lundqvist. All 13 of the Rangers' postseason games have been decided by one goal, and they are 9-4 overall with seven ending with 2-1 scores, including Game 1 of this series. The Rangers are third in the NHL in goals scored and allowed. How dominant is Lundqvist and this Rangers defense? New York tied an NHL record by recording its seventh win in a postseason when scoring fewer than two goals. Lundqvist has limited the opposition to one goal eight times in 13 playoff contests. The Rangers are 30-8 when their opponent scores two goals or less in their previous game, plus 38-15 against the Eastern Conference.
