Tampa Bay has won three straight as it gathers momentum heading into the playoffs. The Lightning come off a 5-0 victory over the New York Islanders on Saturday and they have allowed a total of one goal in those three games. Andrei Vasilevskiy recorded the shutout against the Islanders with 38 saves to improve to 34-20-4 with a 2.57 goals-against average and four shutouts this season. The Rangers stopped a two-game skid with a 5-2 win over Washington on Sunday. Tampa Bay has won five of the past six meetings, and they are 10-4 playing with at least three days rest.
