New York comes off a heartbreaking 2-1 loss on Wednesday and is now in a nearly must-win situation down two games-to-none in the series. Tampa Bay will be without forward Alex Killorn, and center Brayden Point is questionable with an injury. Nikita Kucherov scored with 8.8 seconds left in Game 2, giving the Lightning a victory, but no one expected the Islanders to get this far and it's too soon to count them out. Semyon Varlamov stopped 19 of 21 shots in Game 2 and he is 9-5 with a 2.21 goals-against average in the postseason. Wednesday's game was Varlamov's best performance in his last four games, and he bounced back well after Monday's debacle. Look for New York to keep it close and play the Islanders on the puckline.
