The Wild have gone back and forth on the season playing tight defensive games and wide-open hockey. They began the season with 21 goals scored in their first three games then settled down into more of a checking defensive team. Over the last two games Minnesota has opened it up again, as they have scored 14 goals in the two games. The Lightning has been getting adequate scoring, but the defense and goaltending has taken a vacation. The Lightning has allowed 30 goals to slip through the net in their last eight games, or almost four a game. The offense has carried its share of the load producing nearly three goals per game over their last six. This one has the makings of a much higher scoring game than advertised, so I'll back the OVER here.
