Tampa Bay at Florida

The Panthers dropped their opener to Tampa Bay on the road, and hope to return the favor at home tonight. The Panthers had a very good preseason, and hung tough to get to the third period tied, but surrendered three goals in the final period which led to their demise. This is an improved team with a new coach. Coach Boughner was pleased with his team's effort, and openly stated that if they played like that they would win their share of games. The Lightning broke the third period tie with a power-play goal, and that seemed to take the steam out of the Panthers, but I think it will be a different story tonight at home. Play on Florida.
