Third straight home game for Florida, off a 5-3 win last night over Buffalo. Brandon Pirri had a pair of goals and Jussi Jokinen registered three assists as Florida rallied from an early 2-0 deficit. Florida acquired Jaromir Jagr from New Jersey on Thursday for a pair of draft picks, so this organization has not given up on the season. The Panthers are 9-4 against the Atlantic Division. Tampa Bay is in town ranked 15th in the NHL in goals allowed. Tampa Bay is off a win over banged up Chicago on Friday, but the Lightning is 1-5 following a win. Florida has won three of its last eight games, including once as a +130 dog, plus they lost 3-2 at Chicago and 2-1 to St. Louis as big dogs.
