Tampa Bay has won five of its past seven after defeating Dallas on the road 3-1 on Saturday as Anthony Cirelli scored twice, including the go-ahead goal with 43 seconds left while Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 28 shots for the Lightning. Vasilevskiy had a poor performance against Florida on Feb. 6, but otherwise has allowed a total of only seven goals the other five games in a six-game span. Colorado had lost three of four before defeating the Panthers on Saturday and the Lightning beat the Avalanche 5-0 on Thursday in the first meeting since the Stanley Cup Finals. Colorado has lost five of its past six versus teams with .600 or higher winning percentages and Tampa Bay is 49-21 its past 70 games after allowing two or fewer goals its previous game.
