The Tampa Bay Lightning went through an offensive drought that saw them get shutout four times over a period of just 10 games. They were 1-9 in the 10-game stretch, posting just 14 goals in the 10 games. They have since righted the ship and have now posted 41 goals over their last 13, or better than 3 goals per night. It has led to three road wins in their last six games. They are facing a Carolina team that has allowed 23 goals over their last six games, or just about 4 per game. This should give the Lightning a lot of opportunities to score with an increasingly confident attack. The Hurricane's are having a lot of difficulty coming back off a shoddy defensive performance, where they allowed 5 or more goals in their last game. Their next game reveals a very telling 6-21. I'll go with the Lightning here.
