Tampa Bay at Boston

The Bruins’ home debut was foiled by the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1. Tampa Bay meanwhile put on a clinic at Carolina winning easily 5-1. This is a Tampa Bay team that won just 13 road games in 2009-10, and improved that mark to 21 wins a year ago on their way to a 100+ point season. This is a team improving, and this line is quite high based on the Lightning’s ability to win on the road. Dating back to last season, the Lightning have won six straight vs. teams with a losing record, as well as six straight vs. a team that allowed 2 goals or less in their previous game, and have a 4 game winning streak playing without rest. I'm going with Tampa Bay in this one.
