Tampa Bay at Atlanta

The Atlanta Thrashers have not had a lot of success recently, and one reason is that they have not been finding the net consistently. Atlanta has scored just 31 times in their last 13 games or just 2.4 per contest. The Lightning has dropped off recently and the obvious reason has been their own lack of production. Tampa Bay is mired in an offensive slump that has seen them score just 21 times in their last 11 games, or less than 2 per game. It is hard to see a high posted total here of 6 getting beaten by a pair of teams that are combining for 4 goals a game in their last 13 and 11 games played. The Thrashers have played 15-7-1 to the UNDER after allowing 2 or less in their last game. I’m on the UNDER in this one.
