St. Louis at Winnipeg

The Winnipeg Jets took a tough loss at home in the series opener vs. St. Louis. The Jets led into the third period but simply could not hold on in a disappointing series opener. History has left behind a solid blueprint for Game 2 for a team that lost the home opener in an NHL series, as they have come back to win Game 2 at home to a record of 154-94. When that loss was suffered in the preliminary round, the Game 1 home loser has gone 67-35 in Game 2. Those are some long term numbers in Winnipeg's favor. I think the Jets will get off their heels in this one and play much more aggressively on the offensive end, and turn the pace up in Game 2 as well. Play on Winnipeg and the OVER.
