St. Louis at Washington

The Washington Capitals have been a terror on the ice at home this season where they have fallen just once. The Blues meanwhile, have fallen four-straight times, so why is this the spot for them to take down the home monster? If there is a chink in the Caps armor, it has shown up against the Western division. The Caps may also have the tendency to take this team very lightly. The Caps are 0-4 against the Western Conference their last four times on the ice. The second, and this is where taking a team lightly comes in, they are 14-33 when they play against a team that allowed five goals or more in their previous game. I'll take the long odds made favorable by a couple of situations that line up for this one.
