St. Louis at Vegas

The teams have split the past six meetings and this is the first one this season. St. Louis comes off a 4-1 loss at Arizona as the Coyotes scored three first-period goals against Joel Hofer and the Blues were stymied by Arizona goalie Connor Ingram, who had 31 saves. Jordan Binnington is expected back in net for the Blues tonight and he has won three of five starts, including a 42-save performance as the Blues best Buffalo 6-4 on Thursday. Binnington is 7-6-1 with a 2.98 GAA and .910 save percentage on the season. Logan Thompson is likely for Vegas as starter Adin Hill is dealing with a lower body injury. The Golden Knights have lost five of Thompson's past seven appearances although many of those were due to a lack of scoring on the offensive side. St. Louis is 5-1 after scoring two or fewer goals its previous game and 4-1 after a loss by at least three goals. Play the Blues.
