The St. Louis Blues have been a terror on home ice as their defense has been spectacular. That hasn't translated on the road where they have allowed 3 goals or more 12 times this season, and five times in their last eight games. That hasn't stopped them from being competitive, and especially here tonight vs. a Devils team that has been allowing goals to trickle through the net at home above and beyond the numbers posted by St. Louis. New Jersey has allowed 18 goals in their last five home games at 3.6 per contest, and I expect a higher scoring game here than anticipated. The Blues have certainly poured it on vs. Eastern teams as well where they are 26-9 in their last 35 games, which includes 12-3 vs. the Atlantic in their last 15. The Devils’ shoddy goaltending has allowed them to play just two of their last nine at home UNDER the total. Play on St. Louis and the OVER in this one.
