St. Louis came through with a clutch performance in Game 5 as Dmitrij Jaskin was a last minute addition for the injured Alexander Steen and sparked the Blues with a goal in the second period, and Jake Allen made 22 saves. However, Nashville is back home where it has won eight straight playoff games, and the Predators do not want to go back to St. Louis for a Game 7. The Blues are just 2-for-29 in power play opportunities in the playoffs, and they have lost their last five games at Nashville. The Predators have won 14 of their last 18 against Western Conference teams and seven of their last nine overall. Pekka Rinne has allowed a total of only four goals his last three starts and he had 32 saves on Friday. Allen has lost his last four starts at Nashville, including both games in this series. Look for Nashville to come out with the determination it had in its previous wins. Play the Predators.
