We have a big heavyweight NHL matchup with the visiting St. Louis Blues taking on the Detroit Red Wings. The Blues have had a great season, and come in having won four straight games. This is a great defensive team with great play between the pipes, and right now they are on fire. The Blues have recorded nine shutouts on the season and have recorded four of those in their last seven games, where they have allowed just 7 goals, or 1 per contest. The Red Wings bring a six-game winning streak into this one, but the Blues have the emotional edge, as they will play to revenge a 3-0 shutout the last time they were here. The Blues may not have good road credentials right now, but it’s hard to argue with what goaltender Jaroslav Halak has done recently. He is 11-0-3 in his last 14 in net, recording three shutouts in his last five games. The Blues have a 13-3 mark in their last 16 when playing on one day of rest, and are 7-0 to the UNDER in their last seven as a road dog, while Detroit is 6-0 to the UNDER in their last six as a home favorite, and the UNDER has scored a perfect 4-0 in the last four meetings. Take St. Louis and play the UNDER.
