St. Louis at Detroit

The Blues are mired in a five-game slump right now but they are averaging 3.4 goals per game this season on the road and I think they break out of the slump tonight. Things are becoming desperate for St. Louis so expect a maximum effort here. And, as if they needed it, they have the extra motivation of revenge here as Detroit beat the Blues 5-1 in St. Louis last time these two teams met. St. Louis is getting a lot of shots on goal and they have been fabulous on power plays at 35% conversion - tops in the league. That's not good for Detroit - a team that is just 27-38 the past three seasons vs. teams that convert 20% or more. I like the Blues in this one.
