St. Louis at Detroit

The St. Louis Blues opened the season with a pair of games vs. the Red Wings in Sweden, and surprised the Red Wings by winning both games. The Red Wings won a shootout vs. the Blues and will get them at home for the first time since the Sweden debacle, and I look for them to bring it in this one. It hasn't gone well for the Red Wings, but signs are there that indicate this team is ready to make a run as they have gone 3-1-1 in their last five. The Blues sit buried in the basement of the Central Division standings and have accrued just 29 points on the season. The Red Wings are starting to get their act together and have won 14 of the last 21 meetings here and I like them to add to that total here tonight. Detroit gets the call.
