It's Game 7, which means a defensive duel -- and a close one. There has only been two blowouts in this series, both by St. Louis, winning 6-1 and 4-1, the latter at Dallas. The Blues are dominant defensively, which you want to be in a Game 7, ranked fourth in the NHL in goals allowed, second in penalty killing. Goalie Brian Elliott has started every game in the postseason after posting a 23-8-6 mark and 2.07 goals-against average in the regular season. The Blues, who finished only two points behind Dallas in the regular-season standings for the Western Conference's top seed, are 4-2 on the road this postseason and have already played a seven-game series, knocking off defending champion Chicago. The Blues won 4-1 in Game 5 at Dallas on Saturday, part of a 19-7 run on the road. Dallas won the last game, 3-2, despite getting only 14 shots on goal. Star forward Tyler Seguin skated at practice Tuesday but will not play in Game 7. The visiting team has won three straight in this evenly matched series (and four overall). The veteran Blues are 9-4 in the last 13 meetings, so look for the visitors to steal another road win or lose by one goal. Play St. Louis on the puckline.
