Colorado goalie Philipp Grubauer has a 2.91 goals-against average and, of course, his counterpart is Jordan Binnington, who owns a 2.39 GAA. However, the Avalanche averages 3.6 goals compared to 3.12 for St. Louis and Grubauer will be focused after being embarrassed in a 7-4 loss at Winnipeg when he allowed five goals. Colorado could also go with Pavel Francouz, who is 11-3-1 with a 2.41 GAA this season. The Avalanche have won seven in a row against teams with .600 or better winning percentages and Colorado has won four of its last five when playing with one day of rest.
