Boston started slow in Game 1 but completely dominated play in the last two periods, outshooting St. Louis 37-20 for the game in a 4-2 triumph. The Bruins are on a 37-22 run against winning teams, plus 14-2 at home in non-conference tilts. St. Louis lacks Stanley Cup Final experience. Only one guy on the roster (Jordan Perron) had prior Cup Finals experience and the Blues looked like the more inexperienced team in Game 1 as discipline was an issue. Boston has a great blend of talent and depth, at #11 in goals scored, and third on the power play during the regular season, with an elite defense ranked third in goals allowed. The home team has won five straight when these teams meet, so back the talented and deep home team in Game 2. Take Boston for today's NHL Max Play.
