San Jose at St. Louis

The St. Louis Blues were virtually unbeatable at home this year, but they quickly learned the playoffs are a brand new season and were surprised in the opener by San Jose 3-2. The Blues played their worst hockey of the season down the stretch losing four of their last five including three at home, and have now been outscored 18-7 in their last four on home ice. Prior to this, the Blues had not lost more than one consecutive game on home ice all season, so concerns are brewing in St. Louis. The Sharks are on the high road, winners of five straight and outscoring opponents 20-11. I expect a better effort from the Blues here tonight, but not enough for the big win in a game that goes to the wire. Play San Jose on the puckline.
