San Jose at Nashville

San Jose, after starting very strong at 6-1, has lost two of their last three games. Their offense has gone stagnant. After averaging 4.0 goals per game in their first seven games, they have managed just 5 total in their last three. But, their last loss came on the road at Detroit. I can't fault them for that. And their earlier loss was at Edmonton. The only game they have really faltered in was the loss to Minnesota on Saturday. Other than that, they have done very well. Nashville has been the reverse. After starting out 0-3, allowing 17 goals in three games, they have won four of five. Thus, they are favored at home here. But this call for me comes down to defense. Overall this season, San Jose's has been better. Nashville has allowed 3+ goals in five of their eight games. I think the Sharks are for real and I'll take them at even money here.
