Minnesota defeated Anaheim 3-2 when Joel Eriksson Ek scored the winning goal late in the third period. San Jose has won five of the last six meetings, and the Wild has lost four of its last five playing on one day of rest. Also, Minnesota is just 2-6 its last eight home games.
