For several years the San Jose Sharks have tried to shake the reputation of being a team that wins big on the strength of their home ice, but struggles on the road. They certainly have done well this year at 11-8-3 on the road about halfway through the season. The Sharks have won two straight on the road and have opened this road trip with a win in Winnipeg. They have this one and one more in St. Louis, and would love to put a wrap on a winning road trip tonight. The Wild have been a tough out at home this season, but not recently as they are just 1-4 in their last five games here. The Sharks have pounded teams off a poor defensive showing, logging a 72-30 mark in their last 102 against a team that allowed 5 or more goals in their last contest.
