San Jose at Atlanta

The Sharks have done a lot of travelling early as this will be their eighth game on the road of the season in just 11 played. The Thrashers have been travelling a lot as well and hasn't had a chance to get comfortable on home ice as they have played just two games here, and split the pair. The Thrashers started strong but have dropped two straight. The Thrashers have really struggled against the Pacific teams where they are 4-13-1 in their last 18, and San Jose is not exempt from that list as they have taken the last four meetings in this series, and appear to have the Thrashers’ number. The Sharks carry their biggest bite against an opponent allowing five goals or more in their last game as they are 39-14 in their last 53 against those teams. The Sharks have a good history against Atlanta, and are good situation as well, so I'm backing them here.
