Pittsburgh at San Jose

It doesn't get much better than this as the Penguins at 7-1-0 on the road square off vs. San Jose and their 4-0-1 mark at the Shark Tank. As much as you can in the early season, this one should be like a playoff atmosphere, and play like one as well. The players will be fired up and I think because of that the total is set too high here. These teams can score, but the Sharks at home are very relentless on defense, having allowed just 8 goals at the Tank all season or just 1.6 per contest. Pittsburgh playing in the Pacific Division has now played to a 10-2-1 mark to the UNDER and 5-1-2 to the UNDER after allowing 5+ goals in their previous game. This is three games in four nights for the Sharks, and they have played their last five in this situation to the UNDER. Head-to-head these teams have played 4-0-1 to the UNDER  in their last five meetings. A high-intensity atmosphere with a history of low scoring games means this one goes UNDER.
