Pittsburgh at San Jose

Pittsburgh was hoping for a championship celebration the last game, but lost at home to San Jose, 4-2. The Penguins are still in command of the series and are 21-5 after scoring two goals or less in their previous game. They did everything they could to end the series, outshooting the Sharks by a whopping 46-22. Along with outhooting San Jose, they won the battle of takeaways, but simply ran into a hot goalie. Still, Pittsburgh is on a 42-18 run, ranked third in the NHL in goals scored, sixth in goals allowed, and fifth in penalty killing. The Penguins have lost consecutive games only once in these playoffs. Pittsburgh is 23-8 against a team with a winning record, plus 20-7 when their opponent allows two goals or less in their previous game. Counting the regular season and the playoffs, San Jose is just 26-22-5 at home, while the Penguins are 14-5 in their last 19 road games.
