You need strong defense on the road to contend and Pittsburgh has it at fifth in the NHL in goals allowed. They've won three of four after a slow offensive start, but make no mistake this offense is loaded with talent, speed and star power. Coach Mike Johnston elected to shuffle his lines in Friday's practice, moving Phil Kessel away from captain Sidney Crosby and pairing him with Evgeni Malkin and rookie Sergei Plotnikov. Crosby collected a goal and two assists in a 3-0 win in Nashville when they last met here. The Penguins are 18-8 when their opponent scores five goals or more in their previous game. Nashville is on a roll, but still not a great offensive team at #12 in goals scored. They come off a big offensive show but the Predators are 0-4 after scoring five goals or more in their previous game. Pittsburgh has won five of the last six meetings with Nashville and the road team is 5-2 when they meet. Take Pittsburgh.
