Pittsburgh at Nashville

The Pittsburgh Penguins have had issues with sticking the puck between the pipes. While scoring in general is up in the league this season, the Penguins have not been part of the upward trend. Pittsburgh averaged 3.4 goals per contest last year, but thus far they are averaging a woeful 2.6, an erosion of nearly a goal per contest year-over-year. It has gotten worse lately with just 12 goals in their last seven games at 1.7 per contest. Nashville hasn't exactly been firing strikes on offense either. Over their last nine games the Predators have scored just 22 times themselves for an average of 2.4 per contest. A pair of offenses that have struggled over a pretty decent stretch of games, and a total that is going to require both teams to find answers on the offensive end has value on the UNDER.
