Pittsburgh at Detroit

Pittsburgh's aging group flopped in the opener, losing 6-0 last night to the Rangers. The Penguins went 15-18-8 on the road last season and play their first road contest. Detroit had a winning record last year with an offense that was ninth in goals scored (3.35 goals per game) and on the power play (23.1 percent). The Red Wings open the new campaign at home where they went a strong 23-13-5. Coach Derek Lalonde has guided them to a 15-10 record when favored by less than -200, and I like them to take advantage of the Pens in a back-to-back. Play Detroit.
