The Boston Bruins have scored 13 goals in their last two games, so it would be very tempting to look at the OVER in this one. The Pittsburgh Penguins are off a game where they scored 5 goals, so that makes the temptation even greater. The fact is that the Penguins are 6-2-1 to the UNDER in their last nine scoring 5 or more in their previous game, and they are also 5-0 in their last five after allowing 2 or less goals in their previous game. The Bruins are dramatically UNDER when playing at home vs. a team with a road winning percentage of greater than .600. The Bruins are 37-12-2 to the UNDER in this situation. The last four played in Boston between these clubs has failed to produce an OVER. As a result, I’m backing the UNDER in this one.
