The Atlanta Thrashers will be put to the test tonight at home against the Stanley Cup runner-up Penguins. The Penguins’ play has been spotty recently as they have won just two of their last six, and overall outside of a nine-goal explosion, have averaged 2.75 goals a game in their last 12. The Thrashers have not been very offensive at home recently, as they have averaged just two goals per game in their last six played on home ice. These teams have historically played low-scoring games as the last seven meetings have gone under the total including a game played earlier this season.
