The talented Pittsburgh Penguins got shut out in the opener, so is this group going to underachieve again? No, and not on this night. They had 37 shots on goal in the opener but couldn't find the back of the net against Dallas, a 3-0 defeat. Still, with Sidney Crosby, Chris Kunitz and newcomer Phil Kessel this offense is going to be one of the best in the NHL. Kessell had six shots on goal. The Penguins are 40-19 against the Pacific Division. Defenseman Kris Letang, who has struggled with injuries and health issues the last four seasons, posted eight shots on goal in the opener, too, and appears to be ready to return to his All-Star caliber form. Pittsburgh is also a strong defensive team, on an 18-7-1 run UNDER the total, as well as 14-4-3 UNDER against the Pacific Division. The Arizona Coyotes are coming off a season in which they managed just 24 wins -- 11 in 41 home games. They stole a surprise win in the opener, but this team is on a 16-46 run, including 7-19 against the Eastern Conference. Arizona is also on a 9-2-1 run UNDER the total at home, plus a 14-4-3 run UNDER overall. The Penguins have won five of the last seven meetings, including a pair last season in which Crosby registered five points combined, and the UNDER is a perfect 5-0 when they clash. Go with Pittsburgh and the UNDER.
