Philadelphia has enjoyed success against the Canucks. They have won 11 of the last 14 in the matchup. But, that's ancient history. They've only met once in the past three seasons. These are different teams and the teams haven't met here in Vancouver for seven seasons. Naslund and the Sedin twins haven't broken out yet this year but we see them performing well tonight. Robert Luongo was runner up to both the Hart and Vezina Trophy winners last season so Vancouver can and should perform better than they have in their first two games. Philadelphia has a 23-61 record dating back to last season. They are 6-23 in their last 29 off a road loss including 1-16 if it was a big road loss (by 2+ goals). They are 4-32 off a loss by 2+ goals. Meanwhile, Vancouver is 17-3 the past three seasons vs. non-conference foes. We like Vancouver's chance for a big win here and we'll take them -1.5 goals for the nice 2-to-1 payout.
