Forward Wayne Simmonds has 10 points during a 7-2-1 stretch for Philadelphia, which is ninth in the Eastern Conference and very much within striking distance of both Wild Card spots. It looks like playing seven of nine on the road has taken a bite out of the Lightening, losing the last two games 4-2 and 1-0 as a favorite each time.
