Philadelphia at Pittsburgh

The Flyers came close to winning it all last year, but their inability to win on the road proved costly as they finished playoffs at 5-7 on the road. That was the problem in the regular season as well, as the Flyers finished just 2-9 on the road. This season we see the Flyers coming up on the wrong side of two of their first three. The Penguins struggled to start the season at home losing their first three, but have come back to win their last two. The Penguins are 92-42 in their last 134 at home, and overall stand at 10-2 after allowing 5 or more goals in their previous game. The Flyers’ road struggles have compounded themselves in Pittsburgh, where they are a woeful 5-17 in the last 22 trips here. Pittsburgh wins this one.
